Meet the Team

Marianne Thai

Event Coordinator

Marianne Thai unexpectedly entered the event planning field in college when one of her sorority sisters was tragically killed in a hit-and-run car accident. In her friend's memory, she developed an endowment scholarship and an annual, 500+ attendee fundraiser, the first of its kind at the university.

Marianne first joined Laura Davis Events as an intern in 2005 and went on to manage her own successful wedding planning business, which she owned and operated for three years. Marianne believes that the planning process should be an enjoyable and memorable experience and that an event's success lies in the details. This philosophy has earned Marianne an excellent reputation with clients and vendors alike.

Marianne's career path led her back to Laura Davis Events and in February 2008, she rejoined the team. In her position as an event coordinator, Marianne manages and leads client accounts for the company's Frosted Pink Events division, which specializes in day-of coordination. Marianne also oversees the company's internship program. 

Ali Lazzeri

Event Coordinator

Ali Lazzeri first started with Laura Davis Events as an intern and impressed Laura with her hard work and dedication to every task she took on, no matter how big or small. Ali joined the staff as an assistant event coordinator in June 2007 and was promoted to event coordinator in January 2009. Ali departed Laura Davis Events in the fall of 2009, and continued to plan weddings and events for other top companies, as well as under her own brand.

In October 2011, Ali rejoined the Laura Davis Events team. In her position, she works as a lead wedding coordinator for the Frosted Pink Events division, working closely with clients to finalize details and coordinate rehearsal and wedding day logistics.   

Amber Frawley

Assistant Event Coordinator

After completing the Fall 2011 internship program, Amber Frawley joined Laura Davis Events in January 2012 as an assistant event coordinator. In this position, she provides planning support on client accounts and assists the event coordinators with the set-up and execution of rehearsals, weddings and special events.
